The eight event explored the links between the spectrum of tax planning and the intensity of tax evasion among multinational companies in Asia Pacific. It further examined the effectiveness of the intervening mechanism of Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR), which is designed to curb tax evasion, through rigorous econometric analysis.

The fifth event explored the link between accounting and taxation through a cross-country analysis of cash flow information and its ability to predict tax revenues. The session also included an introduction to the academic publication process and interviews as a qualitative research method.

Our fourth event delved into gender disparities within Indonesia's economy, specifically examining their presence in the taxation system. Innovative methods were introduced, including inferential statistics applied to a panel of regional macro-economic indicators and micro-simulation. The session also provided an introduction to panel data processing using STATA.

Our third event delved into the topic of co-operative tax compliance in Indonesia and issued a call for deeper exploration into crypto-assets, both domestically and globally. The session also introduced a new 5-minute research pitch format, which participants are encouraged to embrace and use as a model in upcoming discussions.
